Admission FAQ's

 

Is there any entrance test?

Ans: There is no entrance test required if you fulfil the required educational qualifications for the particular programme.

 

What are the educational qualifications required for enrolment?

Ans: The educational qualification required for any Bachelors/Diploma Programme is minimum 10+2 years of education. Similarly, the qualification required for any Masters/Post-Graduation Programme is minimum Graduation in any discipline.

 

Can I pursue more than one course at-a-time?

Ans: No. You cannot pursue more than one course at-a-time.

 

Will I get a refund if I cancel my course?

Ans: Following are the conditions for refund:-

 

  • - There will be no refund at all, for cancellation requests received after the mandated time frame of 15 working days.

  • - For cancellation requests received within the time frame, course fee will be returned, after the following are deducted;

  • - 25% administrative charges (if study material sent back and received)

  • - 50% administrative charges (if study material not sent back or received)

 

Note : The percentage deduction of fees will be applied on full fees and not on the installment; accordingly balance will be refunded if applicable.

 

Can I enroll for a Degree program if I am a final year student?

Ans: Students appearing for their final year can enrol for the programmes. However, JNU will process the admission as a provisional one; on receipt of the student’s Degree or Provisional Certificate, the admission will be confirmed.

 

How will I know about the confirmation of my admission?

Ans: Once your documents are verified, you will receive a notification from us with details such as Registration no., user-id and password for LMS (Blackboard) and fee receipt. This is the confirmation of your admission.
